Payment functions
The capability layer. The frozen catalog is seventeen functions; the six groups below are a presentation over it, and two of them have no catalog backing at all.
Two function models
The product specification names six capabilities; the registry's frozen catalog has seventeen functions. This page shows both, and does not pretend they are the same model.
- The seventeen are the evidence model: every assessment in every registration pack is written against one of them.
- The six are a presentation layer over the seventeen, defined here and nowhere else in the system.
- Identity and Credit have no catalog function at all, so no protocol can be assessed against them. They are shown as such rather than given a plausible home: the registry's identity vocabulary answers whether an account survives an address change, and credit is a funding model on an assessment row.
Capability matrix
Assessed functions per group, with the evidence-status distribution behind each cell. Not reduced to one badge: a protocol can have a function that exists and cannot be proven, and one word loses that.

Function catalog
All seventeen, in catalog order. A function no pack assessed still has a row — an absent row would read as 'not applicable' rather than 'nobody has looked'.
